Abstract

The steps in the planning and production cycle covered in Chapter 10 set the stage for what follows. Chapter 11 explains the preproduction activities of concept development, flowcharts, and scripting, followed by the mechanized tasks of producing and editing the frames. The cycle ends with documenting what occurred and periodic audits to determine the need and appropriateness of the infobase contents. Samples of forms that can be used to help produce this infobase are explained. These forms incorporate documents from several sources. It is unlikely that one organization would use all of them; especially if the computerized authoring facility incorporates similar information. In addition many organizations will choose to maintain the forms on a computer using hypertext and other suitable technology.
