Abstract
A theoretical calculation of the anisotropy in the transport properties of cerium Kondo compounds is presented. It uses the third-order perturbation treatment of the Coqblin-Schrieffer hamiltonian at high temperatures (for temperatures T larger than TK) and the slave-boson technique for the Anderson lattice hamiltonian at low temperatures (T smaller than TK). It is shown that this model accounts for the main features of the anisotropic transport properties of single crystals of Ce Kondo compounds actually available. However the need for more experiments is emphasized.
