Abstract
The Hyperlinks module ties together locations, which by themselves are simply addresses of data items, and turns them into links, the focus of hypermedia. Links record relations between data objects and form the basis of hypermedia navigation. Linking is intimately related to the details of addressing (see Chapter 8) and the description of multimedia data to be linked (see especially Chapter 13 and Section 12.5)
