The design of precast concrete raft-type pavements

  • Chapter
Book cover Precast Concrete Raft Units

Abstract

The use of precast concrete is a well-established, economic, manufacturing technique used by the construction industry for structural and semistructural members. The technique has also reached a high level of efficiency in the production of concrete raft-type pavements which are manufactured in the quality-controlled environment of permanent factories.
