Abstract

On the way towards a thorough understanding of AA collisions, the study of hadron-nucleus reactions constitutes an important step. We will outline in the following, how several nuclear effects can be isolated in inclusive hA reactions by considering specific projectile and final state particles. In particular, we study the energy loss (stopping) of projectiles both on the hadronic and partonic level, and relate it to the observation of final states with high momenta.
