Abstract

Nuclear collisions at intermediate energies lead to highly excited systems which decay into multi-fragment exit channels. Experimental results addressing impact parameter selection, fragment multiplicity, fluctuations, emission time scales, and expansion dynamics will be reviewed and compared to model calculations.
