Abstract

The challenge of solving the problem of women and tobacco is massive, global and complicated. While some key gains have been made, primarily in the developed world, there are also some persisting issues and resistant groups. The gravity of the looming tobacco epidemic in the developing countries is sure to press on women very heavily.
