Abstract
Interleukin 2 (IL-2) plays a central role in the immune responses regulating the proliferation and differentiation of T lymphocytes1,2. The interaction of IL-2 with specific high affinity receptors (IL-2R) expressed on T cells upon activation induces T cell proliferation. However, the molecular bases of IL-2 induced signal transduction mechanism are poorly understood.
