Nature of Fireballs Produced by Microwave Interference

  • Chapter

Abstract

A lot of people have been interested in ball lightning for over a hundred years (Barry, 1980). International symposia and workshops on ball lightning were held for the past few years. However, despite of many theoretical and experimental studies, a explanation, which describes nature of real ball lightning, has not been found yet. Among many theories and experiments, plasma fireballs have a high possibility to explain and reproduce a lot of witnessed reports.
