Abstract
In Chapters Six and Seven it was argued that it is both possible and fruitful to classify human behaviour into ‘natural patterns’, or ‘natural kinds’. Each pattern (or kind) will have to be based on 1) a relatively high degree of coherence based on identifiable emotional-cognitive motivators, desires and fears (human nature propensities), and 2) on their apparent anthropological and historical universality.
