Paleoecology and Biostratigraphy of Marginal Marine Gulf Coast Eocene Vertebrate Localities

Abstract

On-going vertebrate paleontologic research at Lamar University is focused on paleoecologic and biostratigraphic information provided by Eocene vertebrate remains preserved in marginal marine deposits across the Gulf Coastal Plain. Vertebrate faunas currently understudy were collected from outcrops in Texas, Arkansas, Alabama and Georgia.
