  • Chapter
The Neurology of Neuroblastoma

Abstract

Neuroblastoma has been associated with the indirect induction of neurological dysfunction. That is, neurological symptoms, signs, and, in some cases, pathological findings, occur in association with neuroblastoma in the absence of detectible tumor in the central nervous system. These syndromes, and others like them described in association with tumors other than neuroblastoma, are collectively referred to as paraneoplastic syndromes.
