Abstract

The origin of the Swedish real estate education on an academic level was in the professions of surveying, forestry and agronomy. Until the 1960s, research and education in the field of real estate economics was primarily concerned with rural issues. The main subjects were valuation, and compensation related to land consolidation and expropriation.
