Abstract
Two monospecific genera of Lyssacinosida (Hexactinellida) are revised but not allocated to a family. One is new (Clathrochone gen. nov.) created for Aulochone clathroclada; the other (Hyaloplacoida) was recently described. Both genera are closely related to each other but allocation to an existing family taxon is problematic, and creation of a new family taxon for them is questionable.
