Abstract
Assembly planning (AP) is an important stage in integrated design. The results of the AP must be approved by the designer, before further line balancing (LB) or resource planning (RP) can be undertaken. It is thus necessary to present the eligible sequences to the user in an efficient way. This chapter is dedicated to the description of the proposed AP representation. Section 6.1 presents its main features; section 6.2 illustrates it with several examples; conclusions are drawn in section 6.3.
