Abstract
The longtime rotational self-diffusion coefficient in a ferrofluid was derived from a Langevin equation approach. This property depends on the micro-structure of the bulk solution, and was determined through a linearized hypernetted chain approximation. It is shown there is a strong reduction of the rotational diffusion due to interparticle ‘s interactions.
