Abstract
Vast monsoonal regime of the Great Plain ranging from subhumid to humid with incidence of rains averaging from below 50-140 cm. The peculiar monsoonal feature gave it four well-marked seasons: hot summer; wet summer; pre-winter transition, or autumn; and winter.
