Minimally Invasive and Robotic Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery

Abstract

The bilateral axillo-breast approach (BABA) for thyroidectomy, performed either endoscopically or with robotic assistance, is an excellent option for patients wishing to avoid a cervical incision. It can be utilized for a wide range of thyroid diseases. Outcomes to date provide support to continue to perform this procedure.
