Abstract

Two separate workshops were held in conjunction with this project and in support of project deliverables. The first was held on 19 September 2012 and addressed the specific sub-issue of intrinsic safety of portable electronic equipment used by emergency responders in hazardous environments. The second was held on 20 September 2012 and addressed the central deliverables of this project and focused on the performance requirements for emergency responder interoperable and compatible electronic safety equipment.
