Abstract

Anxiety disorders are frequently accompanied by depression which can attenuate anxiety treatment outcomes. As such, this chapter outlines the clinical characteristics of patients presenting with anxiety and depression and describes a treatment approach that is able to adapt to these patients. A case example is given to represent the clinical characteristics and treatment approach.
