Abstract

Clinical documentation and navigation of the medical record are part of every practitioner’s daily activities. This documentation and the associated medical recordkeeping requirements are central to the provision of excellent clinical care. At times, documentation endeavors may be perceived as a burden. In reality, however, they are a necessary and extremely useful component of clinical practice.
