Abstract
The problem of piracy in China remains challenging. Just about every product is being pirated, sold in country and exported. At the end of 2011 USTR identified more than 30 “notorious markets.” Eight of these are located in China. An amusing example of trademark infringement is seen below—the invention of “W&Ws” copying M&Ms packaging in every detail (Fig. 9.1).
