Abstract

With correlation, we explored the linear relationship between 2 continuous variables. With simple linear regression, we seek to further define and describe the relationship between a single continuous predictor variable and a continuous outcome variable. Later, we will consider the more common situation of multiple linear regression where there are more than one predictor variables, some continuous some categorical.
