Abstract
Improving health care to rural Chinese communities is vital for promoting health equity in China today. The Chinese Academy of Sciences plays a predominant role in providing advanced technical solutions toward this goal. The use of elaborate integrated diagnostic terminals and cloud computing platforms have made significant social impacts as well as initiated China’s domestic low-cost health-care industry.
