Abstract
Before going to the acknowledgments per se, I would like to pay tribute to the physicists who have been instrumental in my education as a physicist, a very few being adamantly opposed to the very idea of sociophysics and the others being more neutral. I will not disclose their respective names! However, I must confess to their credit that the ones who adamantly opposed the idea of sociophysics never allowed this opposition to interfere with our exchanges regarding more standard physics.
