Embedding Visualizations in a Virtual Environment

Abstract

This chapter presents the merger of the concept of monitor coordinators from Chap. 5 and network messages for graphics from Chap. 6 into the CVE virtual environment. The major problems to be resolved include: how to identify the dynamic textures being used to embed the visualizations within the virtual world model, and how to put the users in charge of the speed of the visualization.
