Abstract
Conventional hemorrhoidectomy is an alternative for symptomatic hemorrhoids that are not suitable for rubber band ligation or the procedure for prolapsed hemorrhoids. This chapter describes both local anesthesia for minor anorectal procedures and a standard technique for conventional surgical hemorrhoidectomy.
