Considerations of Contrast in the Helium Acoustic Microscope

  • Chapter
Acoustical Imaging

Part of the book series: Acoustical Imaging ((ACIM,volume 12))

Abstract

Interest is now being shown in the 4He acoustic microscope as it offers the potential for much improved resolution compared to the room temperature version using a normal liquid as the coupling medium.
