Abstract

We consider power series \(\sum {{a_n}{{\left( {x - {x_0}} \right)}^n}}\) and \(\sum {{b_n}{{\left( {x - {x_0}} \right)}^n}}\) with respective radii of convergence R a and R b and write R = min{R a , R b }. We also assume that R > 0 so that R a R > 0 and R b R > 0.
