Summary
Inspecting the radio continuum properties of about 200 nearby, non-cluster spirals, we have found that the radio continuum emission (per unit light) of these spirals is slightly correlated with their colour indices (U − B) T o , and more closely to their Hα emission strengths, but not to indices of H I content.
