A Computerized Battery for Assessment of Everyday Memory

  • Chapter

Abstract

The field of clinical psychology in general, and neuropsychology in particular, has witnessed a rapid increase in the development of memory-testing procedures. During the 1980s, several memory tests and batteries have been published, including the Denman Neuropsychology Memory Scale (Denman, 1984), the New York University Memory Test (Randt, Brown, & Osborne, 1980), the California Verbal Learning Test (Delis, Kramer, Kaplan, & Ober, 1987), the Continuous Visual Memory Test (Trahan & Larrabee, 1988), and the Wechsler Memory Scale—Revised (Wechsler, 1987).
