Abstract

“Thanks for asking my Dad to step out for a minute. Can I talk to you about something? You’re going to be doing a blood test for this virus I have, right? Do you suppose you could do an AIDS test at the same time? But I don’t want you to say anything to my parents about it. You know me pretty well, right? I’ve been coming here for 16 years. I promise you, if the test is positive, I’ll tell my Dad and Mom. But if it’s negative, I don’t want them to know anything about it. OK?”
