Abstract

The properties of a general resonant cavity will be investigated in this chapter. It will be demonstrated that a waveguide terminated at both ends is a special case of a resonant cavity. The subjects examined in this and the next chapter are available in advanced textbooks such as Altman [C-l], Collin [C-2] and Slater [C-9].
