Sports Medicine in the Congenital Lower-Limb Amputee

Abstract

Little has been written about children with congenital lower-limb deficiencies and their capacity to participate in sports activity. Many Health care professionals have experience with adult amputees and children with traumatic amputations, and tend to apply that to the child with congenital limb deficiency.
