ID Periodic Equations

Abstract

This program analyzes the behavior of the solutions to a differential equation of the form dx/dt = f (x, t), where the function f is periodic with respect to t (not necessarily periodic with respect to x).
Sample graphs showing wrapped solutions as well as the period mapping, from the 1D PERIODIC EQUATIONS, for
$$ \frac{{dx}} {{dt}} = (\cos x - \cos t)/5. $$
