Abstract

In order to prove the conjecture that ‘the order of the subgroup divides the order of the group’ in section 3.1, we introduced certain subsets of a group called right cosets. As pointed out in definition 3.1.1 we could equally well have considered left cosets. This leads at once to certain questions.
