Abstract
The development of a decubitus ulcer or pressure sore is one of the greatest preventable complications for the spinal paralytic. A single indiscretion in care can lead to persistent or repeated ulceration with resultant hospitalization, loss of independence, and complete disruption of any social adjustment.
