Comments on Spin-Wave States in Substitutionally Disordered Anti Ferromagnets

Amorphous Magnetism

Abstract

A recent theory by Economou of magnetic excitations in substitutionally disordered anti ferromagnets is briefly presented and compared with the theories of Buyers et al and Lyo. Emphasis is given to the interrelation of the different approaches. Some further experimental work is proposed as well as theoretical improvements by incorporating off-diagonal randomness.
