Abstract
Thirty years have passed since Snider and Stowell’s (1942, 1944) descriptions of the cerebellar sensory areas. The significance of these observations is not yet known; however, they introduced me to a new cerebellar physiology. No longer were functions limited to reflex motor activity. New questions could be asked and new experiments proposed. To cite an early one: What relationships, if any, existed between these areas and the cerebrum?
