Abstract

It is an extremely difficult task to accurately outline and fairly summarize a series of contributed papers even when they all pertain to a single topic. However, the situation is worsened when, as in the present case, the survey must include contributions on such diverse topics as R-matrix analysis, deuteron stripping, reaction cross section measurements, and a large number of papers representing separate and distinc topics to which no other contribution is any way related.
