Followup of P.V.D. Patients Using Ultrasonic Angiology: New Methods and New Machines
The introduction of Drug treatment — as well as new advances in Surgical correction of Peripheral Vascular Disease has underlined the need to isolate the various causes of failure in the years following treatment. There is also the concomitant need for early warning of impending failure. Due to risks involved in Contact Angiography monitoring at rates greater than once per year would not be acceptable to most Medical Centres.
