Abstract

In earlier chapters, we have considered the principles of x-ray spec-trometry and the individual components that comprise the instrument. In this chapter, we consider the integration of these components into complete x-ray spectrometer instrument systems. This chapter is limited to wavelength-dispersive (crystal) spectrometers. Energy-dispersive spectrometers are discussed in Section 8.2.2.
