Abstract

1. All patients were adults;1 were thought to be highly suitable for psychotherapy; were willing and able to explore their feelings; gave the impression that they could work in interpretative therapy; and gave material at interview which was understandable in psycho-analytic terms and which enabled psycho-analysts to formulate some kind of limited therapeutic plan.
