Sinusitis in Paediatrics

Abstract

The purpose of this trial was as follows:
  1. 1.

    To discuss the diagnosis of sinusitis in childhood from the viewpoint of the practising paediatrician.

     
  2. 2.

    To assess the results of the treatment of sinusitis in childhood with a selected antibiotic, doxycycline.

     
  3. 3.

    To determine how rapidly children treated with doxycycline show subjective and objective improvement.

     
  4. 4.

    To determine the tolerance of this antibiotic in day-to-day practice.
