Review of Experimental Lifetimes: Fourth Period Elements

  • Chapter
Beam-Foil Spectroscopy

Abstract

Many lifetime measurements have been carried out for the fourth period elements, but most of them involve work on only the first few spectra of potassium, calcium, iron, nickel, zinc, and krypton. There are no measurements to date known to us for any of the spectra of bromine, and there are very few measurements on scandium, titanium, vanadium, germanium, arsenic, and selenium.
