Ultrasonic Spectral Investigations for Tissue Characterization
The spectrum analysis system described in this paper has been integrated with a clinical ultrasound system, used for ophthalmic examinations at the ultrasound laboratory of Dr. D.J. Coleman at the Harkness Eye Institute. Three papers discussing various clinical results from this ultrasound system are reported in the Ophthalmology Session.(1,2,3)
