Abstract

The subject of this symposium is the surgical reconstruction of the right ventricular outflow tract. This presentation describes relevant aspects of the pathological anatomy encountered in Fallot’s tetralogy and pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect. Time does not permit consideration of the abnormal outflow tract in double outlet right ventricle and transposition complexes.
