Conclusions and implications for policy

  • Chapter
From incidental to planned parenthood

Abstract

The present monograph concerns the extensive results pertaining to family planning, and in particular contraception, obtained in the Second National Fertility Survey (NEGO II). This survey was undertaken in 1971, in a nationally representative sample of 30 to 34 year old Belgian women. Where necessary for purposes of comparison, use was also made of data from the First National Fertility Survey (NEGO I, 1966).
