Ultrasound of the Lower Extremeties

Abstract

We have found ultrasound to be a safe non-invasive and very reliable method of evaluating aneurysms, cysts, hematomas, and abscesses of the lower extremeties. This modality is able to differentiate these entities from others which present clinically with similiar symptoms such as phlebitis.
