Proliferative Disorders of the T-Cell Series

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Comprehensive Immunology ((COMIMUN,volume 4))

Abstract

Advances in immunobiology have provided important insight into the cellular structure of the immune system. In-depth studies of cell function and correlation of these functions with membrane properties have helped define lymphocyte physiology. It has been shown that in inbred mice impairment or arrest of differentiation may result in various forms of lymphoid malignancies.
